The basic Flying Trapeze class starts with a warm up and students are shown and instructed on a static trapeze bar on the ground. Student will learn how to position and ‘hook’ their legs around the bar to hang upside down from their legs. A safety harness is placed on all students and hooked onto safety lines before they climb up to the platform approximately 8m above the ground. They will be helped by an instructor on the platform that will assist them to take off and swing on the trapeze bar. Each student will have a few swings and they will be able to perform different ‘tricks positions depending on their level. Classes will end with a ‘catch’ where students will perform their ‘trick’, let go of the bar and get caught by the ‘catcher’ on the opposite trapeze bar. |
